Revitamal #AntiAgingPets Supplement for All Species

Share

If you have been reading PetsWeekly for any length of time, you know our dog Cheiss. You also know he’s getting older. It seems like only yesterday when we brought him home as a stray after he was hit by a car (read more about Cheiss’ life here).

Cheiss has been growing older. It’s inevitable. We all knew it was going to happen, but we didn’t expect it to happen so fast. I noticed the changes over a month or two. One day, he stumbled while playing his nightly game of fetch. Out of nowhere, he decided he hated our other dogs and we nicknamed him “Grumpy old man”. Then we noticed that his eyes appeared “bulgy” and over the next few weeks, he began limping a bit more. His playtime continued to decrease each day and he “missed” the ball more often when we threw it to him.

A visit to the veterinarian verified what we all knew: Our 13-year-old dog was acting like a 13-year-old dog and experiencing all of the aches and pains that went along with aging. “As long as he’s not in pain and he has a good quality of life, we can continue treating symptoms,” said the veterinarian. “But he’s 50 lbs and he’s a senior dog. You need to expect some changes.”

I accept the fact that I will probably outlive all of my current animals. But, it doesn’t make it easier to watch them age. And let’s face it – I’m willing to do a lot of things to make sure the animals are with us as long as possible.

Needless to say, I was very interested when Revitamal contacted me and asked if I would take a look at their anti-aging supplement.

Let me just say that I enter every one of these reviews with a very healthy degree of skepticism. A lot of people make a lot of claims. I always try to bring you my honest results with any given product because I figure that even if something doesn’t work for me, it might work for you. Every animal is different and will react in different ways.

(To the right is a photo of Cheiss before we started Revitamal. Notice how tired he looks and how his eyes are “buggy”. He’s not a very happy pup. See photo at beginning of article to see how he looks now!)

So imagine my surprise when Cheiss’ energy levels began returning after two days of use and how grateful I am that he has stopped stumbling. As a result, we have reduced his medication to half what it used to be, and he is doing a lot better. He’s returned to his “old self” and has reverted back to the nervous, hyperactive dog who loves to herd people and cats that we know and love.

Another interesting and unexpected benefit – after about 10 days on the Revitamal, we noticed that Cheiss’ eyes were not bulging anymore. If you have a brachycephalic breed (pug, boston terrier, Shih tzu, or Pekingese), you know what I’m talking about with the “bulging eyes.” But, Cheiss is an Australian Shepherd and shouldn’t have this condition. We first noticed the phenomenon about 3 years ago and it has gotten progressively worse over the years. After a visit to the ophthalmologist, they determined it was age. The change in his “buggy eyes” was something we didn’t expect, but we were very happy to see them “revert” back to normal.

There is a lot of science behind this product. In fact, the science is backed up with over 2,000 peer-reviewed basic science and clinical research studies at major universities. But, bottom line is that it comes down to the ability of free-radicals to destroy cells through oxidation, and Revitamal’s unique FulleLife™ Complex to protect against oxidation, repel free radicals, and repair damaged cells.

Revitamal works by removing toxins and supporting healthy cellular maintenance, making it a “complementary therapy” that enhances the effects of other treatments (like prescription medications).

Now, you can read the science behind this structure (and if you have an older dog or one with health problems, I encourage you to do so). I’m not a scientist, biologist or nutritionist – which means, in my opinion, I have no business discussing the science of this product. This is why I encourage you to visit their website and read their reports, journals and documents that explain how and why this product works. You can even contact them directly if you have questions.

Here is a short quote about how it works:

[bt_quote style=”big-quote” width=”0″]The Revitamal FulleLifeTM complex provides protection to all cell types. This is key, because free-radicals do not discriminate. Comprehensive tissue protection means that vulnerable brain, heart, skin, lung, kidney, muscle, bone, digestive system, liver — all tissue types — are effectively protected from damage.[/bt_quote]

We put Cheiss on it and saw improvement inside of two days – it was shocking. He began playing, he quit stumbling, and he slept less.

Within a week, he was:

  • running through the house like he used to do five years ago
  • annoying us with his ball as he begged us to throw it
  • regaining his appetite
  • playing more

As a result, we:

  • decreased his Rimadyl from 100 mg a day to 50 mg a day.
  • eliminated his Tramadol for pain (he hasn’t had any since we started the program, but only because he hasn’t NEEDED any).

The improvement was so impressive that I put Una, one of our FIV+ cats, on it as well. Una is not showing improvement as quickly as Cheiss, but he is showing some. He can tolerate being brushed again and he’s regained his appetite as well. I’m looking forward to seeing how he does in another few days…

[heading style=”2″ color=”#996633″ style_color=”#996633″]Why you should try it[/heading]

If you have a senior dog or cat (or any other species) of pet and you want to keep them around for a long time, this is worth investing in for a short time. It will either help or it won’t and I’m firmly convinced that the results depend on each specific animal, just as vitamins and enzymes and other natural supplements work differently on each human. You will see a difference after the first bottle if it works for you. If you don’t see a difference, don’t continue giving it to your pet. It’s really that simple.

But, we had incredible luck with it on Cheiss and I’m grateful we had the opportunity to try it on him. It’s made a big difference in his life and it makes me think we’ll have a few more wonderful years with this great dog.
