Litter Genie Waste Disposal System

Share

During our recent trip to SuperZoo (a magical place where many wondrous and amazing pet products are introduced to the public for the first time), we stumbled upon a marvelous new invention known as the Litter Genie.

Now, if you’re like us, and you have multiple cats presiding over your household, you know that the litter box is just about the only downside to having feline friends. This is why we are so excited to introduce you to this product.

The Litter Genie is made by the same people as the Diaper Genie and it functions in much the same way. You simply scoop up the waste from the box, open the lid of the Litter Genie and drop in the clumps, then pull the handle to seal in the waste and odor. You can store up to two weeks of waste without a single trip to the garbage can!

It’s not that we’re too lazy to go to the garbage can, it’s that the daily trips result in numerous bags of waste each week, which is not only annoying, but makes for a really stinky garbage can. This product allows you to store waste for multiple cats over multiple days. Even when you open the lid, it doesn’t smell, and it’s a great way to “go green” with your cats.

How it works:

This is a super easy way to keep your home smelling fresh, keep your litter boxes squeaky clean, and that ultimately reduces behavior problems associated with cats not wanting to use dirty boxes. This product also helps the environment by eliminating the multiple plastic bags needed to scoop boxes.

The bags themselves are super strong with five layers for ultra strength, and protect against odors and germs with their unique air-tight design. The unit utilizes built-in antimicrobial protection that fights odor-causing bacteria an stops smells.

The Litter Genie is available in silver or white and fits in beautifully with any décor. You can store the scooper on the side in a small container that fits on the side.

Try it out for yourself – it’s available online and from independent retailers.  Retail price is between $19.99 – $24.99 and the cost of refills average $7.00. Depending on the number of cats you have, they will last a couple of weeks. We know you’ll love it as much as we do!
