Wahl’s New Line of Grooming Products

Share

We just had the opportunity to review the newest line of Wahl’s pet grooming products. Now, before I begin, I want you to know that I have a particular weakness for all things scented “coconut-lime verbena” and this line of products is no exception. We absolutely loved their products (and the adorable Wahl Paw Print Travel Tote for Professional Grooming that came along with them).

As you know, it’s important not to bathe your dog to often or you risk stripping your pets coats of vital oils.  Wahl has also thought about this and as a result, has created a line of products that keep your pets coat clean and healthy, but still smelling great.

You’re going to thank me for bringing this to your attention when the holidays arrive!

 No-Rinse Waterless Shampoo

I usually shy away from Wahl No-Rinse Waterless Shampoo, Coconut Lime Verbena because I’m convinced they tend to dry out our dogs coats. But, I was pleasantly surprised with this particularly line. We used it on our Aussie mix, Cheiss, because his coat is longer and a little more “plush” – it takes a lot to hurt that dog. But, we were happy to see that not only did it not strip the coat, it made it softer! Wahl’s No Rinse Waterless Shampoo also smells great – a very light, fresh scent that doesn’t bother us or the dogs.

Doggie Deodorant

This is a neat idea. The Doggie Deodorant spritz is sprayed directly on the dogs coat to freshen in between baths. Perfect for the holidays when company shows up at the last minute and you want your pup smelling fresh! It’s alcohol-free, and derived from natural ingredients. Since it’s important not to bathe your pets too often, we love this solution for “in between bath” times. The smell is not coconut lime verbena; instead it is a eucalyptus spearmint scent that is very easy on you and your pet’s nose. We found it to be very refreshing and the dogs don’t seem to mind it at all. This is a great option if you have a scent dog and want to make sure you avoid heavily perfumed cleaning.

All-Natural Odor Neutralizer

Wahl’s new all-natural Wahl Odor Neutralizer is a spray designed to remove odor by encapsulating (bonding to the molecue) and removing odor from the source. This is a game-changer for the pet products industry. Not only can it be used on pets, it can be used on bedding and furniture or carpeting to remove odors. Strongly recommend!

Oatmeal Pet Shampoo

You all know that we’re fans of oatmeal anything, especially when it’s infused with some magical potion to make it smell all coconut-lime-verben-y. We found this shampoo to be easily rinsed from our pets coats, which is super important, and leaving behind clean, moisturized skin. If you’re looking for a very mild shampoo that lathers and rinses easily, Wahl Oatmeal Shampoo, Coconut Lime Verbena is the one for you.

P.S. If you’re in the pet industry, you really can’t go wrong with this adorable paw-print apron that we found (but have not tried). We have just ordered ours!
