Make Holidays Fun with #BLUESantaSnacks for Dogs

Share

The holidays are rapidly approaching and we’re looking for clever ways to share the holiday joy with our canine friends. It can be hard to make a holiday-themed treat for pets, so if you’re in a hurry, we have a solution for you.

Blue Buffalo™ has recently introduced a limited-edition, holiday-themed selection of treats for dogs and we’re excited to share these with you. The BLUE™ Santa Snacks are healthy dog treats made with natural ingredients like oatmeal and cinnamon. These treats smell so good you’ll want to eat them yourself!

They go right along with the traditional oatmeal cookies we bake for ourselves (and our neighbors). The difference is that they are a lot healthier for your dogs.

Blue Santa Snacks are the perfect stocking crunchy stocking stuffer for any dog. They are all-natural  and made with a healthy combination of oatmeal, cinnamon, barley, pumpkin, flaxseed, and carrots.  There are no byproducts to worry about and they are free from corn, wheat and soy.

We took the dogs on a shopping trip to Petsmart to find these fun snacks and imagine our surprise when we learned they were in the front of the store!

Also, they are each in the shape of a tree, a gingerbread man, or a star! I mean, what’s not to love? Brock wanted all of them… He had a hard time figuring out the best one to try, but ultimately settled on the SantaSnacks (we got the Santa Stew as a surprise for later).

These treats are very affordable, but if you have a very popular dog at the park, you still may not have the budget to buy individual packages of these cookies for each friend on your shopping list. So, we came up with a creative way to present them to your dog park pals or all of those amazing animals at the shelter who would really appreciate a holiday treat.

We found this fun origami project on Tumblr and thought it would be a great way to keep kids entertained making doggy bags of treats for shelters and rescues!

Simply print this pattern on card-stock, then fold. Fill it full of fun BLUE Santa Snacks and you’ll have a recyclable container filled with treats to give out to each of your four-legged friends.
