When it comes to chic fashion, no one wears it better than Matilda, the beloved full-time feline resident of The Algonquin. This fabulous feline and her predecessors have been cattin’ around New York since the 1930s. People have come from around the world to meet this celibri-cat, and now you can meet Matilda in her newly renovated hotel home.
You’re invited to attend a reception, meet some captivating cats who will be up for adoption, and view the “Cats in Fashion” show to benefit NY SAVE on Wednesday, August 8, 2012. The reception and fashion show will be hosted by author and Pet Lifestyle Expert, Sandy Robins. Fancy Feast will also be on the scene with plenty of treats and samples of their amazing Mornings line – a breakfast treat soufflé filled with white meat chicken, garden veggies and eggs that your cats will adore!
The event begins with adoptions from Bideawee at the Algonquin Hotel (second floor) from 3:00 – 7:00 pm. A reception will follow from 5:00 – 7:30 pm where you’ll have time to caterwaul with your favorite felines and check out the beautiful Meow Wear Fashions.
Please leave your favorite feline at home this time; we’ll have plenty of cute kitties on site for you to meow over! Additional donations are welcomed and as always, we thank you for your ongoing support.
