Pet Product Review: Mad About Organics: Natural Pest Control

If you struggle with mosquitoes taking love bites out of you and your pet while out for your daily walk or playtime, you need to stop what you’re doing right now and order some safe, natural and effective pest repellents from Mad About Organics.

For the last month, we’ve been trying out this new line of products on our own pets (and on ourselves). Let’s talk a moment about my most favorite; the Fly, Gnat & Mosquito Relief Spray.

The relief spray not only helps protect you and your pets skin from mosquitoes, gnats, flies and plenty of other annoying creatures (unfortunately it won’t help the non-flying kind, like people) but it does help with anything that bites, stings or attacks.

Another great benefit (besides being completely all-natural and nonirritating), is that it can act as a natural sunscreen. We strongly recommend you first applying an actual sun block designed specifically for pets (like Epi-Pet sunscreen), but this will work as some added protection.

Mad About Organics products are also water-resistant for those of us with pets who feel the need to walk through or jump in and out of every body of water they can find within a two-mile radius.

Normally I would carry a can of OFF! with me wherever I go, but this year, I relied solely on a natural approach and despite a record year for mosquitoes, was able to manage a summer with only a few bites. Since my pets and I are natural attractants to all things that bite, this was a month of pure bliss!

Another really incredible thing that we love about this company’s product line: Mad About Organics has developed their product for different species – including cats! Do you know how amazing that is? Trust me – it is… Since it is made from a combination of concentrated oils that have been diluted to a very specific level in order to ensure they don’t overpower either man or beast. This helps make it safe for everyone, as often as necessary, and special formulations are available for dogs and horses as well.

I know, we’re heading out of the bug season, not into it. But even in winter there are things we would prefer to keep off of us. And if you’re living in one of our colder regions, Spring will be here before you know it. If you’re living in the Southwest, you know that the pests aren’t heading out any time soon.

If you’re going to use something on your pets, then use something safe. This is the safest, most effective pest relief spray I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing.
