TELO-20: Extending Your Dog’s Lifespan

When we hear about a new pet product that is scientifically-based and proven to increase the longevity of your dogs lives, we want to be one of the first to tell you about it – especially since it’s based on the Health & Wellness benefits of Nobel Prize-winning Telomere Science. With Telomerase Activation Complex.

TELO-20 is one such product.

If you don’t know about Telomeres, or better yet, lengthening Telomeres, I hope you’ll read on because it’s important to know – not only for your pet, for yourself as well. After all, we want to be around for a good, long time to make sure our pets are taken care of correctly, right? (And stay tuned, because we have an opportunity for you to win a COMPLETE SET of this amazing supplement for you AND your dogs).

Telomeres are microscopic caps that are made up of repeated sequences of DNA. They live at the ends of chromosomes. You know the tiny caps that secure your shoelaces? Telomeres act the same way on your chromosome – and since every cell in your body has a chromosome (or many), you have a lot of these little caps.

Telomeres help protect the end of the chromosome from deteriorating or fusing with other chromosomes, which is what causes aging (and other bad things, like cancer).  Telomeres are also the “keepers of information” – so if a cell divided without keeping the Telomere intact, the cell would lose the information it contains.

Division is tough on Telomeres. They are destroyed during cell division (the act of aging), and are then regenerated by a very specific enzyme that we just learned about called “telomerase reverse transcriptase”.

In 2009. Elizabeth Blackburn, Carol Greider, and Jack Szostak won the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for their work on Telomeres. This essentially means they are very important people doing very important research on a very important topic: expanding lifespans.

Telomeres play a key role in canine and human lifespan. As we (and our pet) get older, our cells begin to divide. Each time a cell divides, the Telomere at the end of that cell gets shorter. This effectively changes your DNA and is the primary culprit behind aging. When the Telomere becomes too short, it effectively dies off. The good news is that Teleomers can be lengthened. How do we know? Well, several scientists studied this issue and one of them even brought home the Nobel prize for his work in Telomeres. And if you don’t believe me, you can read all about this award winning science in Scientific America.

There are three main ways that Telomeres die. They are:

The good news is that a specific enzyme can help replace Telomeres and stop them from splitting and eventually dying off. Here is what happens:

Dogs benefit from TELO-20 because it’s the first integrated “complex” of eight different nutritional ingredients embedded in eight natural Telomerase-activators. This supplement targets all three causes of Telomere shortening. If you have a dog aged 5 – 15+ years of age, you will really want to pay attention to these benefits:

Canine Telomeres work almost exactly as human Telomeres do, and play the same vital role in canine aging, age-related conditions, longevity, and mortality.

 [heading style=”2″ color=”#996633″ style_color=”#996633″]The good news[/heading]

Telomere length in dog breeds correlates to lifespan, yet as we know, dogs actually ‘age’ at an accelerated rate in relation to humans, so positive intervention at the cellular level, via dogs’ Telomeres, is especially crucial to healthy aging. Veterinarians and physicians are using these enzymes around the world to stop not only aging, but joint problems, degenerative issues, and even more serious problems like cancer.
