Creative Leashes For Your Dogs

We’re always looking for creative and useful products for our pets. These are some of the fun and practical designs in leashes that we have found.

Ruff Leash by Zee.Dog: The highly functional and comfortable Ruff Leash from Zee.Dog uses a unique PU (Polyurethane) spring that is extremely flexible, resistant, and shock-absorbing, paving way for an enjoyable walk with your dog.

The leash is structured with the spring placed closest to the dog, so pressure is rapidly absorbed by the component. The neoprene handle adds for extra grip and comfort. And, let’s be honest… You’ll look really cool with it too. Made for you to get out there and have fun, this product retails for $30 and can be purchased at www.zee-dog.com

Survival Leash: The Survival Leash from RBD Pet Outfitters is made from paracord and available in a multitude of colors and designs, these are pretty amazing collars with a lot of different uses. In case you didn’t know, paracord can withstand 550 pounds of pressure but is extremely lightweight. You can use it for tying things down to your car, scaling a mountain, and yes – for parachuting.

So, what does this have to do with a dog collar, you ask. Well, I’ll tell you. It’s nice to have a collar that you can quickly disassemble and use in an emergency situation – especially since most of our emergencies seem to occur with our pets around. But, even if you don’t need to use the paracord for survival, camping or mountain climbing; these collars and leashes are stylish, sturdy, and will last forever.

Dog Boss Zipp-n-Go Dog Leash: The Zipp-n-go Dog Leash is a unique way of gaining control of your pet in a high-stress situation. It’s an anti-choke slip leash that makes it easy to get your pets attention. What all that means is that you can easily slip it around your pets neck and they won’t be able to slip out of it, or pull so hard that they begin choking.

The snap reflex on the handle makes a loud noise so you can easily interrupt negative behavior with a loud snapping sound. Now, this leash is not for everyone and there is some training involved with using it, but its great for use in grooming and veterinarian offices where it’s important to get your pet’s attention quickly.

CoLeash: When you have a dog who attempts escape at every FedEx delivery, the CoLeash collar is a great type of leash to have. Since it’s a part of the collar and always on your dog, there’s no need to go hunting for a leash. It combines the benefits of a collar and leash into one easily handled short-control leash that wraps around the collar attaching with Velcro.

The wielded D-rings means it can also be used in conjunction with a regular leash. It’s made from nylon and there is an entire line of CoLeash Kryptaglow that helps with nighttime visibility. Keep in mind that the longer the collar, the bigger the leash. This is a great leash to help with short control in sudden situations that require a quick dog grab. Excellent choice for dogs involved with sports – check out this video to see how it works.
