Fun Projects with #BLUESantaSnacks

Share

The holidays are the best time of the year for me and my family. The weather has finally cooled down (I can even wear a jacket, sometimes for hours at a time!) and the world is alive with lights and good cheer.

My pets are just as excited about the cooler months as I am, but add to that the fact that our house is decorated and a live tree is in the middle of our home, and you have very happy pets who love to play, climb, explore and sniff these miracle things. We like to make it as fun as possible for them with little treats hidden in areas around our home – and we have some fun ideas that you can try in your home!

So we came up with a few things we thought you would enjoy. Hopefully you find some holiday humor to lighten up your day!

When it comes to the holidays, humans are usually a lot more in the spirit than pets. They eat your decorations, tip over your tree, and pull ornaments from the staircase. This year, include them in your holiday with BLUE Santa Snacks!

Each of our pets also gets their own stocking filled with goodies after Santa Paws arrives. But sometimes we want to include a personalized treat for each of them. Now, I know they can’t read and don’t really care where the treat comes from, but with all of our animals, this is a fun way to split the pack into their individualized owners.

BLUE Santa Snacks are healthy dog treats made with natural ingredients and their unique shapes are designed to put your dog in the holiday spirit. Since they’re baked from oatmeal and cinnamon, they have an appeal that will keep your dog begging for more.

Here are some fun ideas on how you can integrate these treats into your holiday decor and bring your four-legged friends some holiday joy.

My sister has a dog but she also uses these when her kids demand that she put out treats for Santa’s Reindeer. Now, they aren’t listed as reindeer food (officially) but given that they’re made from all-natural ingredients (Oatmeal, Barley, Pumpkin, Flaxseed, Carrots and cinnamon), we feel that the reindeer will very much enjoy these treats on Christmas Eve! I suspect the plate of cookies and goat’s milk (goat’s milk is a much better selection for Santa’s delicate digestive system), will be long gone before midnight…

Last year, My Dogs Ate Your Elf on a Shelf. It’s sad, but true. This year, we’re trying to protect Elf by letting him use the cookies for protection. We have a zero tolerance for bullying!

The BLUE SantaSnacks work perfect as stocking stuffer! In fact, this year we will be using them as gifts for our neighbors! We found these adorable stockings from Outward Hound Kyjen on Amazon and bought up a bunch of them. But I think there are a few left if you want to grab one #CyberMonday.

The new SantaSnacks come in several shapes, so you can easily use them as decorative pieces on your tree. Our dogs love these treats! Be sure you don’t use hooks or string to hang them up, as this can be a huge problem if your pets decide to sneak a snack.

These small shapes are perfect fillers for your holiday advent calendars. Take the treats from the package and place one per dog in each pocket. (We also found this adorable advent calendar that makes every day of the month a treat!

We hope that this gives you a few great ideas for your pets holidays. These fun treats are not only good for your pet, they make wonderful gifts for neighbor pets! So don’t forget your four-legged pals at the dog park when you do your holiday shopping.
