Cat bullying is again on the rise. According to Discovery news, a woman walking with her daughter and French poodle were attacked and bullied by a 'gang of feral cats' on a recent walk. The experience marks the beginning of a long-dreaded feline takeover.

Witnesses report that the group of tabbies wore leather jackets and were seen "snapping" as they strolled down a street in downtown Belfort - a town known for its feline street gangs.

"They're untouchable," said a frightened resident who declined to be identified. "They've been robbing pet food stores and vandalizing animal control buildings. We fear for our safety."

Domestic cats are rising in support of their feral cousins. Popular cat meme stars all weighed in on the activity.

"Cats attacked humans?" asked GrumpyCat. "Good..."

This week, we are in Orlando Florida for the Global Pet Expo. We brought 3-D Bree along to tweet the expo and we’ll be following up with some amazing pictures and an article upon our return of all the wonderful things we have seen. Tonight is rather special though, as we will be attending an award to honor our good friend, Sandy Robins.

She is the 2013 recipient of the prestigious “Excellence in Journalism and Outstanding Contributions to the Pet Industry” award from The American Pet Products Association (APPA). Sandy is a pet lifestyle journalist, author and spokesperson and we are very excited to name her as a friend and coworker.

We’ve worked with Sandy over the years on a number of articles and in several special events, most recently as a fellow member of the Pet Safety Advisory sponsored by Toyota.

Another situation recently surfaced in Lubbock, TX when the American Museum of Agriculture decided to euthanize two mules in order to put them into an art exhibit.

Let’s take each injustice one at a time...
