ZanyZak, designers of amazingly beautiful, hand-crafted animal collars, have announced that they will be donating fifty percent of their proceeds from collar sales to the Educational Fund for Children of the Embera Tribe in Panama.

Pink beaded cat collarPetsWeekly recently received samples of these products for review and we can tell you ourselves how absolutely beautiful they are. The Abbey is a beautiful pink beaded collar that is specially designed for our spoiled felines. The Cog looks wonderful in hers!

The Apache beaded collar sports a black base, highlighted with silver conchos and blue turqouise beads that our lighter colored dog, Cheiss is going to love.

Most all of us who have dogs, also have large vehicles, usually SUV’s.  You can tell that we are dog people because nearly all of our large vehicles are completely covered in dog hair.  Sure, we joke about it, say that we like that way because we always have a “little bit of our dog with us at all times”, or we warn people that if they don’t like it they can walk, and in the deserts of Arizona, that’s a serious threat.  But, in all seriousness, dog hair covering the interior of our vehicles, making us constantly rub our noses like some kind of addict, or making us sneeze without warning as we fly down the freeway at 75 mph, is a legitimate concern.  PetSleeves was designed with our needs in mind.

Allow me to introduce Happy Tails Spa Grooming Products!  This group really has it all together.  They have spent the last two years producing, manufacturing, packaging and developing some of the finest grooming products that my pets and I have ever had the pleasure of using.

It’s those kinds of questions that keep me up at night, and probably the same reason I spend my days at home writing a column about cat products instead of sitting in an office with the mass of society...

Of all the "cat problems" we get emails about, spraying is the number one topic among concerned pet owners. And it should be. Spraying can be more than just a behavior problem, it can signify that a cat has serious health problems. About 50% of the animals that we hear about, which have been taken into a veterinarian for a full exam after spraying, have been diagnosed with an infection of some kind.
