PetsWeekly is proud to partner with the city of Chandler for their 6th annual Woofstock event for a day of fun in the Valley of the Sun. Plan to join us on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from  9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Tumbleweed Park. Admission is free and leashed pets are welcome! As always, PetsWeekly will be there offering lots of free samples, plenty of unique products to learn about, and chances to win everything from Clear Conscience Pet Treats to HedzUp Pet Life Saving Collars. We hope you’ll swing by the booth (you’ll find us right in front of the stage). As always, we will be focusing on bringing you information  you can use for surviving the multi-pet home. Take a sneak preview at the best new pet products - including the newest supplements, foods, clothing, collars, and tech gadgets! PetsWeekly is proud to provide baskets for raffle at the event. Swing by and support the ASAS with a raffle ticket (you can pick yours up for $5 or increase your odds of winning by purchasing 5 for $20!) Clear Conscience Pets has generously donated bags of treats for inclusion in these amazing baskets and you’ll also have a chance to win a Gift Certificate from HedzUp Pets.

The Walk

This year’s event will benefit the American Service Animal Society (ASAS) and Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC).  Woofstock is sending a salute to Veterans with a Walk of Honor sponsored by the ASAS. As always, the Walk of Honor is a free activity and all Woofstock guests are invited to participate.  A special feature included this year is the “Spot the Service Dog” contest with lots of chances for you and your pet to win some amazing products. (View the course map here) .

Adopt A Best Friend

There will be a number of rescues at the event and we’re sure you’ll find a new best friend to make a part of your family. We can't think of a better way to start the holidays!

Low-cost Vaccinations and Microchips

Bring your newly adopted dog or cat by the booth (we will want to visit with you!) or bring your friendly, well-behaved dogs down to receive discounts on vaccinations and microchipping services (pricing is listed below).  MCACC will be out there with the truck and are offering pet adoptions as well as discounted vaccinations and microchipping. Stop by if you are interested in any one of these services:

  • Rabies Vaccinations - $20.00
  • Mico-Chips - $10.00

The Blazin K9s

The Blazin’ K9s will be there offering FlyBall racing demos throughout the show. You’ll love this high-energy dog sport which features teams of four dogs jumping to a spring-loaded “flyball” box to catch a ball and run back over four jumps. This is drag-racing for dogs! See how your dog does on a specially designed agility course sponsored by Good Dog Agility. Volunteers will be helping your pet navigate the course on leash and you’ll see if your pet loves this sport. They will also be featuring their amazing agility dogs on a specially designed course. Donations from the event will benefit Friends for Life. Woofstock is the recipient of the 2009 Outstanding Community Special Event presented by the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association.
